What is Vedic Astrology?
Vedic Astrology is a science like Psychology. Psychology uses "constructed models/theories" to explain behavioural traits. Astrology does the same utilising the planetary positions in the "heaven".

What is the biggest misconception about Astrology?
It is perceived by the less informed to be the cause of the events in one’s life. Professional Astrologers whilst acknowledging that there is a correlation between the events in one’s life and the heavens, do not subscribe to the fact that everything is determined by Fate!

How would one understand Palmistry?
Palmistry is similar to Astrology, except that it uses the features of the palm, to obtain the same information.

Is there a difference between the two?
Yes. It will be almost impossible for anyone to find two identical palms in the world with more than 4 billion people. So in a sense, aside from being unambiguous, it also has a greater degree of accuracy, because all the input (information) comes from the palms. In Astrology, one needs the exact time of birth, which can sometimes be inaccurate.

What is AstroPalmistry?
It is the melding of Palmistry & Astrology to obtain a composite picture of a person’s life. It is this combination of 2 different independent disciplines that increases the accuracy of the extrapolation.

"I live my life one day at a time, why would I want Astrology or Palmistry to determine how I should live my life?".
AstroPalmistry is the roadsigns in the journey of Life. Just like the signs on the road that does not decide what happens to the driver, AstroPalmistry advantages a person to become more aware of the events, opportunities and failed attempts that is likely to happen in one’s life. It does not cause the events to happen. So in a sense, it is a tool!

Do many still continue to believe AstroPalmistry is "hocus-pocus"?
Yes this is still a widely held misconception till today. One only needs to understand the beginnings of these ancient disciplines to realise how untrue this is. Some date Vedic Astrology to have been practised at least 5,000 years ago. This compare well to modern medicine which has only survived some 200 years. To say that medicine has withstood the "test of time" whlist simutaneouly branding Astrology to be "hocus-pocus" just does not make any sense!

What type of individuals ask for readings?
Just as a person would not resort to Acupuncture before exhausting all possible venues in modern medicine, that are some who would adopt this same approach to AstroPalmistry. Those who have used it know its’ value. AstroPalmistry used to be thought as a pastime for bored housewives (please pardon the term, I am NOT discriminatory against women). Nowadays, professionals from all walks of life, lawyers, doctors, engineers, even accountants request for readings.

Remember "Only those who are courageous enough to leave familiar shores, Will discover new lands…"

How should a reading be done?
A reading should be done with minimal feedback from the enquirer. Of course, it is difficult to do a reading with zero feedback, but not impossible to do. That is what a reading through the Internet entails. Too many practitioners tend to use inductive questioning. Some practitioners are particularly skilled in weaving a reading from the feedback they received from the client through inductive questioning. They then present it back to the client as if it was obtained through some special skills.

How long into the future should a reading delve into?
I personally do not believe in any reading that is beyond a year into the future. The major objection I have to this is that the lines in anyone’s palms, change as they change aspects of their life! This is a provable fact. So to do a reading, without giving the allowance for a change is not something I’ll do.

How do you be structure your readings?
I first try to evaluate what the problem of the enquirer is. There are ways to do using Astrology alone, Palmistry alone or both disciplines together. Once this is done, I go backwards in terms of time to investigate the problem. For example, for a relationship problem, I’ll explore how long the partners have been together. Whether they split have before. What is the reason was to cause the split.. If the problem is still existent. Whether there is any recourse for them to stay together. Is a future permanent split is inevitable. Then I’ll explore the financial status of my client. Whether other complications ie property settlement, children, businesses etc are involved. And then I’ll give my client the prognosis for the future. Once the main reasons for the enquiry has been handled, I’ll explore other areas. You will not find "fillers" in my readings like those found in a 40 page computerised report that doesn't say anything!

How should the enquirer use the reading?
He/She should first of all read or listen to the reading at least 3 times. Surprisingly, a lot of new information seem to come up everytime one listens to it. This is one of the most frequent feedback I receive. Then, the enquirer should jot down a few notes, especially for the future. Some examples of these are, when one is offered a promotion, when one intends to travel and when one actually does, whether the relationship to occur in the future occurs at the time it is predicted etc. Then go about one’s daily life, not worrying about it. The predictions will happen if and when it is supposed to. There is no need to make it happen!
